Alline Cormier is a Canadian photographer based in Victoria, British Columbia. Her photography mainly focusses on nature and wildlife but she also enjoys photographing architecture and whimsical touches she finds in and around Victoria.
Celebrating nature and the animals who enrich our environments is central to Alline’s photography, as is inspiring people to protect wildlife and wildlife habitat.
Her photography has been exhibited at the Bay Centre in downtown Victoria, featured in the Times Colonist, the Capital Reginal District’s social media and on the cover of Smoky Blue Literary and Arts Magazine. Her photo essay on BC owls, ‘Owl Spotting’, was published in Canadian literary magazine Blank Spaces. She has placed first in photography contests, and one of her images merited a spot in CAPA’s 2024 Digital Salon (Canadian Association for Photographic Art). Her images appear in two 2026 calendars about Victoria’s gardens, including one cover shot, and are forthcoming in several publications.
Alline has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Université Laval. She does not use ChatGPT or generative AI in the creation of her images.
